Rensselaer Junior Varsity football team improved to an impressive 7-0 after drubbing Lewis Cass 52-12 Monday night at Emory Harrison Athletic Complex. Opening the onslaught was Dylan Rentchler who had a 79 yard kick return touchdown to get the Bombers on the board to open the game. Next Touchdown came on a 12 yard QB run by Eli Hickman. Jacob Grow scored his 1st of 2 touchdowns on the next possession and also added a 2 pt conversion on the night. Rentchler got another touchdown from his Wing Back spot scampering 18 yards and followed that up with a 2pt conversion catch from Hickman. The Bomber scoring was capped off by Addison Wilmington who added 2 2nd half touchdowns and Tom Goad and Keegan Todd added the 2 pt conversion. Defensively, Martin Boget had 2 sack and forced fumble andCody Walter also added a block punt and 2 sacks. Bombers JV will go on the road next Monday as they play Hoosier Conference opponent Lafayette Central Catholic.
