The Browns’ quarterback evaluation strategy continues to get stranger. Last week, Browns executive Alonzo Highsmith revealed that the team didn’t have Baker Mayfield as their top quarterback until they personally got a chance to meet the Heisman Trophy winner. The Browns loved Mayfield’s personality and leadership traits. Yet, in that same interview, Highsmith vaguely detailed why the Browns didn’t like former UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen.
